Want to fly drones commercially in the US? It starts with one test: the FAA Part 107 (Remote Pilot) knowledge test.
The format
- 60 multiple-choice questions, three options each
- 120 minutes
- 70% or better to pass
- Taken in person at a PSI testing center
What it covers
Regulations, airspace and sectional charts, weather, loading and performance, and operations — exactly the knowledge areas defined by the FAA's Airman Certification Standards (ACS).
How to prepare
Practice with realistic questions, learn to read a sectional chart, and take full simulated exams under the real time limit until you pass consistently.
